Beautiful olive wood pestle and mortar. It is handmade and hand carved a very useful and interesting utensil that is not only decorative but also highly efficient. Use it to pound garlic, ginger, whole black pepper, or any other spices.

These olivewood utensils are only made in the North African country of Tunisia. Because of the irregularities found in all types of wood, each is a natural materpiece in its own right and no two are alike.

A nice honey color, look at the lovely grain of the wood!
